You recruit them in Africa... but they come from Germany!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why should that matter? If you colonize those territories, your soldiers will be from your stock. Entering in africa does not turn everyone automatically darker skin tone. Ptolemies had greek soldiers for centuries.

I'm from a germanic culture and population and me as some others get more red than 'dark' or 'tan' being long time under the sun just sayin. Historical depictions of Norsemen like Vikings also talk about 'red faces': that's the way the most of fair skinned people goes without those modern products to get proper tan.
