Icon5 will factions ( mostly minor ones ) start the campaign with 4 -5 units in their capital ?

    Hi ,

Just a question , Do you think that factions going to start the campaign with 4 or 5 units like shogun 2 or its going to be different ?

In shogun 2 there was no difference between major ( or playable ) and minor factions and they all had same number of units at the beginning , Will we see the same in Rome II or its going to be different ?

isn't the difference between major and minor factions mostly dependand on how many regions they own?

I'm sure there will still be Garrisons but as far as having a general in the field with a small force, I don't know.

I think they will, otherwise it might be too easy to overrun them as a larger faction.

I prefer all factions, whenever possible, to be on a competitive footing. The playable factions already have their special units and faction bonus(es). Do they really need more handicaps in the form of fodder minor factions?

why would you want that? the amount of starting units should be based on a combination of historical situation and the strength of the faction the map (number of controlled regions should be a significant factor in this) If I play with Macedon, why on earth would I then want to have a stronger egyptian army then a seleucid army on the map? On the map there should be no difference between how the playable and the non-playable factions behave, or are positioned. Else we will see every campaign play out the same.
