Is there a way to watch AI vs AI - Fights in campaign?

Yes. When you enter the battle, group your units, then select the button on the right of the panel that says something like "Put under AI control". This will make the AI do the hard work of being a general for you while you lounge back and watch the sun set over the Andiun while sipping on some fine Dwarf ale.

Of course, unless you are a really sucky player, then AI will probably do worse than you could.

EDIT: Wait... you mean you want to watch battles that the AI factions are having? Nope, not that i'm aware of. And besides, a turn would take hours if you did that.

Yes, thats what i want. And i know it would take years to end a turn. Anyways, is there a way to watch those battles? Or is it "hardcoded" or whatsoever?

Well if you're in a fight with an ally that you know can win on his own so you do as the above post mention, then there's a scenario But in all honestly, I don't believe there is a way

AFAIK you can only view your own battles.

You can't see AI vs. AI battles unless, as said above, you'r helping an ally and stay passive (or join in the fight).
But you can/will never learn anything from AI vs. AI battles. They are stupid as :wub: and shoots arrows at their own troops that are fighting, which decimates their melee units. The AI only have one strategy: RUSH! They rush and clash into each other which means that he who wins, is the stack with most or the strongest units.
What's worse is when an ally is helping sieging. Then they do one of two things: Stay passive until walls are breached and then rush or stay by the walls and get shot by the arrow towers..........

I like that, the allies provide a nice distraction (targets) for the enemy leaving you less harassed.

I believe all AI battles are auto-resolved anyway.
