Is it possible to make a port appear as a settlement on battle map?

Many times when fighting battles near seaports the port only appears as a distant smudge on the horizon. I was just wondering is it practically possible to show a port as ,maybe an unwalled town, on the battle map cuz an enemy army on campaign map is able to blockade it so why not fight the battle as an in-town battle. Just an idea

Hardcoded limitations prevent this.

Wait till Rome 2. It will have ports on the battle map. But Crymson is right, it's hardcoded and wont come any time soon.

Actually, it is possible to create 'Custom Tiles' where you could feasibly fight a battle on the map in a 'settlement' that really isn't a settlement. But I could never figure the process out and get it to work. Unfortunately, RTW does not include any models that are usable as a 'port' that would work on the battlemap. Believe me, I have tried.
