    "Sicilia: an Isle divided" is a mod spanning from 1000 A.D. too 1500 A.D. it consists of these factions the invading Normans broken into factions the English & the French Normans, two Islamic factions which are "the emirate of Modica" & "the SHiekdom of Ganji" & the weaker individual Sicilian powers which are "il ducato de Mismeri", Click image for larger version.

    I am done with the map (tested it working great!) now next couple a days just adding regions I project the mod will be ready no later than the 4 of July!

    their will be two Islamic dynasties (unplayable but unlockable) two invading norman powers (as well unplayable but unlockable) & Six playable factions which represent the Native Sicilians the Islamic factions will be powerful at the start & so will the invading normans the indigenous Sicilians will be weak ( your job is to grow big & reconquer a "sovereign Sicily) screenshots soon! (so far everything is working great!, almost done with adding regions about 130 so far & accurate of the Sicilian Towns Between 1000 & 1100 A.D.)

ID:	278351 here is the map regions (totally working) about 135 regions plenty of room to add more upon request it is a huge map! 410 by 400 atleast twice the size of "Vanilla" I will be uploading sreens of all my ui work with this too plus the battlefield skins

    thank you~ so far the factions are: English Normans, French Normans, Il Ducato De Messina`, Il Ducato De Gela, Il Ducato De Scordia, Il Ducato De Xenos, Il Ducato De Serra Di Faico` (haven`t renamed the Islamic faction yet) but all factions are completely reskinned & otherwise modified~& I have included the papal stated on the Island of Malta & have ported the music & all the buildings (I made new) from my mod "Les Champs Mortels (fields of death) "

    Nice idea. I have a few proposals. ou should add some minor island around sicili, because your mod is so focused on a really small part of the world, that they should be in.
    And you may probaly shape sicily a bit more, that it looks like the real island. In the moment the coastlines are not so accurate.

    accurate enough I think~ ( unless that is of course you want to slave away at this for a mod your giving freely to the community also that would mean altering settlements which are rather accurate already & compromise a Balance of game play~ you "perfectionist "Nazi`s" are what killed some of my other projects~ you get what you pay for! & you are not paying a cent for my work! so download or not it is your choice! but I am sharing my work freely not "pandering" to peoples Ideals your more than free to ignore this mod~ but since you believe in "accuracy" what are these Islands you Suggest? Can`t think of any myself!

    actually u were right about the islands found at least twelve minor Islands I have included to the map~ Thank you~ also I have played a campaign at least 75 turns in I think this is my best modding work so far~

    although the general shape of the Island is not ideal the settlements themselves as well as the topography & geography of the Island is are very accurate please understand this is a "big" project for a single modder! ( I have no team) if you have any skills & would like to contribute feel free to offer otherwise your sentiments "ring" with a strain of "selfish entitlement!" I am not being mad I am just saying it really not productive too voice critiques unless you can & are willing to help otherwise your just giving me more "busy" work to make your "mod" not mine! Thank you ( I am sorry if I seemed un-open to suggestions, but this a forum to show my work! not a venue for the lay players critism it is really annoying when people come in here & with suggestions & do not know a thing about the modding process~)

    THANK YOU! the most difficult thing about this mod was drawing the map since that is done it is smooth sailing from here! like I say by & no later than the fourth of July!

    so all factions are re-skinned, cultures changed & voice types they are: English Normans (start with 7 regions & three generals), French Normans (start with 7 regions & three generals) Shiekdom of Ganji ( start with 7 regions & three generals), emirate of Modica (start with 7 regions & three generals )Il Ducato De Xenos (start with one region & one general), Il ducato De Scordia (start with one region & one general), Il Ducato De concatta (start with one region & one general), Il ducato De Nicosia (start with one region & one general)Il Ducato De Messina (start with one region & general), il Ducato de Gela (start with one region & one general) Il Ducato De Mismeri (star with one region & one genera)l, Il Ducato di Serra Di Faico (start with one region & one general) all are in game new skins & everything~all capitals are large towns which can recruit mailed knights~
