Only 57 Provinces at Rome 2 or not.!!

Hey guys.I just read at a site that the campaign on RTW2 will have only 57 provinces to play with and conquer.!And i thought to make a thread and talk about it with u guys because my humble opinion is that only 57 provinces are very litle in number.Now if in this site tell wrong things u can correct me but in S2TW-Fall of the Samurai that i own there are over 70 provinces or more or less and Japan is so smaller than Romes Europe-North Africa and Midle East and stuff.Even RTW might had more provinces.So again if this is correct why so smal campaign map and so few provinces to play.I thought that Romes 2 campaign will be far more biger than RTW and the most big map exept ETWs map that ok has North America some of south America and India ofcorse.So u guys what do u think about it is true,u think that it will be a smal map or its ok and there are all the things needed to have a big and nice playable map.?

Provinces divided into a whole bunch of regions........ or was it the other way around?

Either way, to fully conquer something you need to take all it's towns. For example, just talking out of my arse here, say you want to take Epirus. That province/region branches out into smaller sub divisions, so you'll need to take them all to fully conquer the region of Epirus.

Again there are 183 region grouped in 57 provinces. Already been asked, already been answered.

Its already been stated by Jack Lusted there is 183 regions which are divided into provinces to stream line later gameplay.

There is more regions in rome 2 than any other total war.

Are you sure about it? because I think the first Rome had more ,Like around 200 regions !

No the original Rome had around 100 regions, mods typically increased that to 199 which was the hardcoded limit. The Total War game which had the most regions out of the box was Empire, with 137.

It is explained in pretty much every thread on this sub-forum, but I'm gonna say it again: 57 provinces it is, but each provinces include around 3 regions each. That makes around 170 conquerable regions.

There are already many worry threads about this game, what is not finished at all or something is still not showed up yet. Relax guys, there is still over 3 months to this game release and plenty of informations about this game will come each week.
