Have you pre-ordered (yet)?

I'm not sure if I should wait and see what the rest of the game looks like before I lay down my money. I'm super keen for Rome 2 but I don't want to rush in and buy it just yet; the game won't come out any faster if I do.

So have you pre-ordered or do you plan to later on or not at all? I think this poll will also be a good reference for CA.

Pre-orders are stupid. I remember when gamers bought their games, and that was that. Every game was the same, everybody got the same thing, and everybody had access to the same content. Now there's all this extra stuff I have to read about like which of the gabillion DLCs are actually worth the money. Then I get to feel cheated because I'll wonder why they weren't included in the actual game. BS.

I want the collector's edition If I can't get it then I'll probably buy them later or upon release. Don't really need the Greek Pack but my 5 year old son want the onager.

Nah, I really don't plan on ever pre ordering any game ever. I might make an exception for R2 if a set of things happens, namely; price goes down at least 15$, there is some kind of demo that shows me I can actually play the game on my computer, and my new job pays me like 3$ an hour more then I'm expecting it to.

After seeing the "culture pack" news, CA won't be getting a single penny from me, much less a pre-order. I summed up my feeling in the thread I created on the subject.

What if I told you CA never mentioned the DLCs or culture packs, and the three greek city states including Pontus were part of regular Rome 2 package. Wouldn't that be an even better deal?

Well there is a novel idea!!! People are actually fooled into thinking they are getting a good deal with all this DLC. It is astounding.

What if CA tells you that if they ever put those culture pack into the regular Rome 2 package, they will raise the price of the regular package by an amount of how much the DLC is charged? There is no free lunch in this world.
