Blank loading screens?

Ok, so I've had M2+Kindoms installed and fully updated for a while, and I started messing around with a mod for kingdoms that had it's own mod folder, and I started to get weird errors. Mainly no loading screens; when there was one it would just go to a blank screen, but it would still load and after the loading was done I could play the game normally. Today I completely uninstalled and have now reinstalled M2 only, patched up to 1.3 but I'm still getting this error. Does anyone know what is causing this?

When was the last time you cleaned out the computer's case real good?
What kind of temps are you getting before even loading the game?

Do you mean physically clean the case? I use a laptop so I can't really clean it And I'm not really sure about temps, don't have any programs to measure it with

Laptops can be cleaned. Check The Basement for those that use laptops on how. Oh yeah, more than one laptop user playing Medieval2 has had to invest in a cooling pad. There are at least three threads in this forum on the subject.
