Default hey question about rome 2

i know how in rome 1, when you dont have a general in the army, it randomly picks it for you, even though a unit with more experience is in the group. normally is favors cavalry.. well i was just wondering if in rome 2. u could let the unit with the most experience be the general? and how is it randomly selected for which unit gets chosen for the general in rome 1 ? thanks

Armies will no longer be allowed to march around without a general unit, and are going to be raised as an Army ("in the field"), and not individual Units as in previous versions of Total War.

So is that one army considered a Legion? Or do we know yet? One thing I like to do was transfer units from one general to another to nurse some units and create a veteran/elite army will we still be able to do that?
