Default After loosing with "faction" A you would have the option fo continuing with B or C

    Example :
    Roma will have 3 families.
"I" start and loose with family A and then i could continuing to play with family B or C.
This could be implemented to the other civilizations that as families, tribes or people .

I dont know how will be Rome 2 ,but, probably we will first choose the civilization/culture and than the family, tribe, clan, people .
I think it will be like this ,if it is ,this topic would be very sucessfull with Rome 2 and with TW campaign gameplay.

Whats your opinions about this if it would work or not ,if you like it or not and please, please stay on the topic .
    I hope you like it.

    When you lose,
you should lose and not reincarnate

and i reckon losing while playing with rome will be pretty difficult

Your playing a game and your playing with a family not with a civilization (Roma) as you mention.
Your not loosing with the entire civilization but only with a faction of it.
You didnt understoud well the topic idea.

It could be good because in that case all your progresses toward a victory woudl be resetted but you should not be able to get your opposing enemy otherwise you would win by having lost ... eventually you might continue the game with an ally ...

Anyway I doubt they will implement anthing else from now on ...

I understand the OP,and yes, from what I understand of the info on Rome II every faction (not culture or civ, but faction), will get "political parties" (which may be families, clans, parties, etc.) between which you choose at the beginning, each gives bonuses. During the campaign the other "parties" are still present (each character belongs to one of them, even if you control them) and depending on your action the various parties will gain or lose power, if your party fails to lead the faction or the others start to really hate you there will be civil war, in any faction. At least that's what I understand.

Given those premises I don't think that if you lose as the "party" that you choose in the begging (eg. you lose the civil war as the Junii or as clan of the Arverni) you should be able to keep playing as another one, you lost the game, now somebody else governs the empire that you created, deal with it and restart.

I disagree. I personally think it would be awesome if some of your family members escaped to a loyal or sympathetic province, and you kind of become a rebel faction, or a government in exile if you will. You then would have a choice of some of your own faction's troops and then like the native troops/mercenaries to use as you march back for your rightful home and former capital, or you could maybe try and create a new empire, which would make your former faction resent you or something.

That would be really cool, and I would love it, but it's quite different from "keep playing as another family".

Rome II would need a simulation of dynasties rivalling Crusader Kings II for that. It's not gonna happen

Hmm - screw up with faction A (if possible make faction C gain advantage on this) - then take faction B - screw up
again (don't forget to let faction C get all the stuff B has left behind) and finally - take faction C to have an easy go
    until finish?

    No thanks

Can you loose in a TW Campaign mode? Nice, never did that should try it sometimes. Is that feature even in the game? Seriously up to now I think difficulty levels were too low. Only Darthmod makes games fun regarding difficulty. But you can always exploit something to win against the AI. You really have to unlock weak factions like Malta or do other things like don't build fortifications on purpose to make it really hard.

Makes no sense, no I wouldn't like this feature. Who loses in TW campaigns anyway?

Who loses on TW campaigns ,the ones that play it on VH and LEG levels, with no re-loads,no auto-battles and no pausing on battles.
Its not hard but i loose too and at least admit that i do.

Yes. If you could choose all factions. Not just the low number CA has limited us to due to corporate money grabbing reasons...

As I said, money grabbing reasons... I could bet $100 those "packs" won't be free.
