Egypt!
Rome after all the game is after them
Veritas Temporis Filia
Iceni because of the whiners.

Can't decide between Rome, Carthage and especially Egypt.I also feel like I should play as Rome -the roman units look great and all but it's really tempting to rewrite the history not to repeat it during the first playthrough. Those heart breakingTotal War decisions....I quess that in the end I'll have to toss up to decide this

Come on... why Rome? They have already win! Don't you wantto try something more challanging?
Rome--Sparta or Athens--Carthage--and then maybe Epirus
Rome first, because I like to save the good stuff for later.Actually Rome will probably end up being one of my favorites, but after that I'll go for Carthage and then Athens. The barbarians can wait.
Hmm, Rome has always been my top faction so i guess i'll play as Rome first but then i'll definitely play as either Sparta, Athens or Carthage as they are also favorites of mine although not as much as Rome.
I think I'm going with Macedon, I may start as Rome just to get the feel for the game but my first full campaign will be Macedon, not overly difficult for a first campaign, great starting position, great variety in units, and I want to be the next Alexander, after Macedon probably gonna play as the Suebi just cus they look like a lot of fun, this is the first total war game where there are so many great factions to choose from that will offer such different experiences, this is the first Total War where I don't have a favorite faction simply because I want to play them all they all look amazing...well except Pontus I just don't like them other than them I will play all the factions.
1) Carthage
2) Rome
3) Parthia
4) Iceni
5) Pontus
Pontus, going to make an AAR with themI hope the tutorial will be sufficient introduction to the mechanics and gameplay of Rome 2, because it will be the only preperation before the Pontic Empire of North Africa, Middle East and Europe shall emerge.
R2TW stance: Ceterum autem censeo res publica delendam esse
Iceni for definite; the romans: they came, they saw, they ran away. Good catch phrase for when the iceni kick some roman ass i think
Seubiits the closest to Scandinavia so why not. Then Athens or Sparta.
Rome so I can see what the family system is all about
definitely parthia, though I don`t remember having seen any horse archers, yet.
