All Greek factions in mainland Greece. I really hope that we could gain the benefits/units of each greek mainland faction just like Alexander did and unite all Greece under one banner. Then should I look west, or east, or north, or south... can't decide who to crush...

Poll reveals that everyone hates Egypt and spits in their inbred bad mannered faces. Like last time I was in Egypt I wanted to kill everyone, "Here is some water for you my friend, it is free!". Ok cool, open bottle. "Give me money! Give me money! Give me money!". Never visit Egypt people, it is the ********* country I ever been to and I visited around 40 different countries, so it is really a low grade. Plus the pyramids are ****ing ugly. Luxor and Karnak is nice though, but the people totally ruins the entire experience.

    there are bad people everywhere
You can't judge all people in a country like that. If you come to my house I can give you a seat some water and if need even a meal for free but there are also people who will charge you just because you sit on a chair that they set up at some place.
Everything depend on people not a race, a country.

I went to Sharm EL Sheikh and it was completely amazing.

5 star, all inclusive, private beach, nightclub resort, scuba diving. Brilliant holiday.

So you are basically telling us that you were in Egypt without actually visiting Egypt.

No really I have been traveling around a lot in Africa and spent a lot of time in poor areas and ghettos, but nowhere is the spirit of rip off, scams, bluffs and sexual harassment of ladies as big as in Egypt. Not to mention that Cairo itself looks more like a garbage container than a city.

One day took a train trip in Egypt, opened the toilet, some brilliant Egyptian man (or many perhaps) had actually gone through the effort of smearing his own poo poo nicely in the ceiling of the toilet creating a wonderrul perpetrual rain of pure ****! There was also **** all over the walls of course, even handmarks in **** and the floort was a swamp of unclean substances, but the feces raining down from the ceiling was what impressed me the most in this land of ancient culture.

Then the poor chick I traveled with all the time had to listen to whistles and people screaming "very sexy!" "olalala" etc after her. Not single people, but crowds. So yeah Egyptians are barbarians unfortunately.

Never been in Egypt but I lost my bag with credit card and a Laptop back when I at Italy.
Put my bag on my seat since I was on a buffet at the Hotel I stayed in. When I come back to my seat after took a little food the bag was gone. I complained to the hhotel but they refuse to take any resposibility. If I not on a tour and have to part to France the next day I sure will murder someone there.

The funny part is the bag also contain my PIN code, lost big one there it's about 2000$ cash.
Lucky that I not have all money on that account

Have you been in Istanbul? There are so many scammers there.. at all places tourist come there are tons and tons of annoying scammers. The most famous scam is the drink-scam, where a male lures you to a club to have a drink. Then a girl or male joins you and drinks with you. When you want to leave and pay for your drink they charge you like €100-200 euro (worth in Turkish Lira) and they won't let you leave untill you've paid. I've heard someone had to pay €1000,- before they let him go. Scammers are everywere...

No comment on the toilet.. that's just gross.

As for your friend. It even happens in Italy. When I was in Italy males would put their fingers at their mouth (like they were eating something) and say "bellissimo". It's annoying.. but Egypt isn't the only place these things happen.

Wow this was off topic !

You should see Taiwan and China. Fake students try to sell tourists overpriced pencils as a university fundraising scam.

When I open the holy relic (read Rome 2 box) and install it, jacking off and having multipous orgasm's till it is ready to kick off and let me enjoy the MDMA like world of Rome 2, I will probably pick

    1. Athens

Because they according to R2 wiki have weak allround infantry and relies on mercenaries for success, although strong culture boost and navy Athens will sure be a challenging faction to play. Thus the best faction to start with according to me.
Will of course lay on Very Hard or Hell on earth if that difficulty are available!

    2. Roma Imperiivm

I will swathe the world in flames by the might of roman arms and superiority!

    3.Suebi

Because I am biased as they'r composed of nordo-germanic races, my frurious warriors of Woden (Oden) and various Bear/wolf gods will use their race strenght to smash the world in blood. My primary target will be to make a huge folk-wandering raid and smash the pyramids to rubbles, burn the babylon hanging wildlife and mount the statue of some greek port!
"See that they are well supplied with beverages, with their drink avidity satisfied by giving them as much beverages they want. Then they will easily get defeated by their lust of yeast as by roman arms" Tacitus, Germania 23

You barbarian! do not even try to come Black Sea. Pontus Euxinus is ours!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Kidding of course

anyway, I'll build huge navy as Pontos and rule all Anatolia, Black Sea, Aegean Sea and Eastern Mediterranean Sea.

Can't vote yet but I'll go with Arverni, the second most disliked faction!

A bit of cultural prejudice in this choice, but they also seem interesting to play as armored "barbarians" with a good cavalry, and first in line against roman imperialism (Alesia won't happen)! Speaking of imperialism I shall unite the gauls, then the britons and celtiberians under one huge celtic kingdom, and then eventually expand into Germany, Scandinavia, perhaps even in Eastern Europe, going south of the alps and sacking Rome only if the romans force me to, and cultivating an alliance with whatever hellene faction will unite Greece in order to protect my southern borders.

Amusingly, for my second campaign I'd love to go with Egypt, the most hated faction. I don't understand why: rich and evocative history, successor state, cool faction logo, mix of african and greek units, strong navy, internal instability, what's not to like? Though I'll probably go with Rome or Carthage since they'll have the most interesting internal politics with their senates. My preference would go to Rome but Carthage might be tempting if the cult of Baal plays an important role in the game...

As I love playing with cavalry in TW games, Parthia is very tempting too...

    Macedon.

the idea of starting in Greece with barbarians to the north, eastern kingdoms in the east (stated the obvious their) Greek states who I will look to ally to the south and the growing Romans.

the campaign sounds electric and with such a big mix of enemies at your disposal whenever I want, ill be sure to have great fun as the mighty sons of Alexander.
