I have this thing of mine, a reocuring theme which happens every time I get a new total war game or expantion, and it has happened ever since I played Rome 1.
I play the game throughout the next 4 days non stop. And within 2-3 months I managed to complet the campain of every faction.

Iceni, so that CA will look at their Steam statistics and see that they are the go-to faction for new players.

Then I'll try a Pontus campaign to test the game out. Lastly I'll try my hand at a "grand" Roman campaign.

Well I am not sure, I am interested primarily in

Sparta
Athens
Macedon

and scondary in Rome and Egypt. I think I will play as Sparta first because of the cool units and cool faction banner. Then Athens. Or Macedon. Hell I dont know gimme that game

Carthage first, because I played as Rome (Julii), The Greek City States and Parthia in rtw. The only two cultures I have not played are Carthage and those blue and green barbarians.

(I particularly like DarthMod, I played Greeks in that)( also i played Roma Surrectum 2.5 as Syracuse)

I'm definitely gonna do a small battle between the Romans and probably the Gauls just to test settings, zoom in and see the new combat up close, etc. Then start the campaign as Rome.

Athens to begin with.
Then Pontus to discover an other part of the world.
And third Macedon because I can't stay away from greece.

Second is definitely going to be Parthia.

Third is difficult. The Arverni look cool and Pontus too. But now with the Greek factions I might play as one of them too, probably Athens.
