Content of the Normal box

Seems I can't get this answer anywhere ...

I have always been a fun of the boxed copies of the games, but not of the supersized wfull of strange stuff things ... sure the collector edition this time is nice but tis too expensive for what's holding ...

What I like the most is usually to have the map in the hands and check the places and the techtree and units roster ....

This was present in older TW ... I dunno for empire as I downloaded digitally because I was not much a fun of it ...

So my question is ...


Will the map and tech tree chart be included as usual in the normal box or not ? Will it be just a dvd like is becoming the use of actual latest videogames or instead will hold somethig physical that makes worth the buying ?

Otherwise I guess there is no need to order anymore on any reseller since on steam you get the same for the same price .

Also and this is just out of curiosity does someone knows why it costs more than usual this game ? does it include anything special too?

the price shifted from the usual 49 Euros to 60 Euros ... perhaps the Pontus FreeLC is not so free?

I don't think so. You'll just get the DVD and some small installation/basic guide book that no one really read.

NTW did have some sort of map but that for the Imperial Edition. Not sure for Normal Edition. We haven't have maps since the original RTW. Don't think BI have maps either.

Nowadays the DVD is just for faster installation and been discarded afterwards. After every large patch since ETW I have made copies of the latest installation so that I do not need to redownload huge patches again a year later. My son use the disks as frisbees.

I would love to get a map of the game like in skyrim in my normal box.
