Can't seem to recruit agents as Parthia????

I have the full RS 2.5 patch and game downloaded and I am playing on steam.

I am not sure why I can't recruit spies, diplomats or assassins but it sure does put a damper on the game especially since my spy died and the map is so huge...

Any ideas of what could be causing this problem?

You need to build... somethig. Right now I cant remember if a market, councill chamber or what, but I have played 2.5 parthia and I could recruit agents.

PS: you can recruit them from the hippodrome.

You looked in Parthia´s folder EDB? Also, I have played with Parthia, and I have recruited agents. At the hippodrome.

The hippodrme is where you recruit your units playing as parthia. Have you builded it in your campaign?

well, maybe, but I suggest you playing the campaign. Some buildings are visible in the browser only when you have the required previous buildings (for the hippodrome, i.e. you have to build first "fortified region").

Hippodrome for Parthia? I thought only as Rome you can build it...

you need to build regional focus (or something like that) and "fortified region". I think it is in the browser.

If you open your game in C/program files/whatever (where you have installed RS), you´ll find a folder called Parthia. If you open that folder you´ll find export description buildings file. open it and you´ll find everything.

LOL now my snake of a diplomat was bribed by another nation, the dirty turncoat if I ever figure out how to hire an assassin he is dead meat!!

I Built the monument base and that did not open up the option for a hippodrome. any ideas?

IIRC they have stables and hippodrome and something else as barracks (everything "horse related").

Damn they are expensive I hope they are worth the weight in gold I am paying for their training!!

They worth it (well, not 30, but its good having three or five good assasins)

Not finding them too worth it, 6% chance to kill a 4 influence diplomat. My assassin died within 10 turns and only burned down one building...
