i just pre ordered it from zaavi

its on for £25 and they have a preorder price offer (if the price increases between now and the release date then you will pay the lowest price )

If you work to earn a living, why then do you work yourself to death?

He read it wrong. If the price DECREASES you pay the lowest. I just looked in to it, and that's the same promise Amazon has.

People in the UK only pay 29.99 for a game? That's less than ever us over here in America. I expect to pay at least $50 and up to $60 depending on the company.

I was asking about whether or not Zavvi are a legit sight as I've never heard of them. I want to get the steam version as I don't want there to be a muddle up with delivery so I'll wait and see if the price drops, when will you pre-order it?

Yea prob buy physical. But £45? In the UK a typical pc game is £30. Some Greedy publishers like Activision jack Call Of Duty to £39.99. But £44.99? Jesus billy balls Christ.

45 pounds in England so it will be about $140 in Australia (80 pounds) even though we buy and download from the same steam cyber store (must be the cost of shipping all those bytes across the world)

That doesn't seem expensive at all for a big budget PC game.

It's the most expensive pc game I have seen in the last 15 years and by far the single most expensive video game product to have arrived on steam from what I can see.
8 years and 700 games owned and I have never seen a game reach that price point. Not even Call Of Duty.

Really? In region 2 steam it is 55 EUR which is more than 45 £.
Seems average by Swedish standard, but the SEK is pretty damn strong right now. So everything is cheap for me, I guess.

$80 Australian. thats not bad. paid $90 for medieval 2 & about the same for empire and shogun 2. well worth it considering the hours of gameplay you get out of total war games (1970 hours for Shogun 2 alone at about 22 cents an hour)

The UK has been spoiled by low prices for a long time. Seems they are finally catching up with the rest of Western Europe.
