You are right, I'll wait as well. The video's shown so far have given me a lot of skepticism about this game and have highly undermined my excitement for this game. There are just too many questions unanswered for me to jump in day 1.

I am contacting my local game store if they can get the CE for me. Past previous TW game I always got the Special Edition this way. Hopefully I can be one of the 22k owner.

If not then I just get the normal retail version. Not really interested in the Greek culture pack since I only going to play as Rome. Might bought all other DLCs during next years Summer/Winter sales.

i shouldve waited for a special edition (better than the normal but not as good as the collectors edition )

anyway if CA do release a special edition then ill just cancel my pre-order and buy that instead

just did, dont even have to pay for it until it falls through my mailbox and can cancel at any time when i see a better deal.. but 45 eu for a physical edition is pretty nice.. its like they dont want people to pre-order on steam.. kind of strange

i agree with you op. need to see more, plus if the engine isnt improved from Shogun2 it's a def on sale game for me. maybe if £20 from shopto or g2play.

p.s totalbiscuit and angry joe are quite good i think. well from the reviews I have seen they tend to be pretty much spot on and honest...

Totalbiscuit won't do a video on Rome 2. He is boycotting SEGA and rightfully so, for they are violating video content of users on youtube.
