Default Why all men are shaved?

Ok another detail question, still not a gamebreacker issue. Or. Anything that much important , but still a detail to consider...

Roman troops had a mandatory dhort hairs and no beards as rule ... But others did not and beards were extremely common , now apart barbarians , no other faction shows bearded units ... Especially were are greek style beards? Were eastern stule beards ? Were phoenicuan beards?

Why so it was chosen to not pottray men with beards?

Because the bodies with hair and stubble were not done when many screenshots were taken. I've said this before but apparently it was not noticed.

Up until now all Greek, Roman and Carthaginian units have sued the same 4 Roman skins, even in the screenshots you have just seen. Not only have more variety of Roman skins gone in, new Greek ones have as well.

Thureos shields were widely adopted in this period because they were cheaper and lighter than the aspis.

so is it just athens or are all greek units going to have this? because I think we saw some hoplites having those shields while the spartans/macedonians had the great big round ones (Yea I suck at history)

The Spartans and Shield Bearers are elite troops who could afford an aspis. The Athenian troops we saw could just be common soldiers for all we know.

And don't forget that in antiquity people did not look same in all regions as they do today. Fair features (for example blonde hair) were significantly more common around the Mediterranean in those days, especially among Greeks and Romans. Some people may find that strange and controversial but the fact is is there is strong scientific consensus for this assumption.

    Wasn't Alexander blonde or at least a dirty-blonde? Wasn't Augustus a red-head?

First of all, they did a good job about the Epirotes. We, just like the other Illyrians were potrayed as clean shaven.

Its a matter of subrace anyway. We do not have heavy dark beards like the Greeks. XD

    Hey Jack!

Are u guys gonna make the Epirotes taller than Greeks?

Epirotes were not Illyrians. They were a union of the primitive Greek tribes Molossoi, Chaones, and Thesprotoi. The Chaones were furthest north, but they were not Illyrians, because they were constantly engaged in warfare against them and spoke a Greek language with Greek customs. The Epirotes and Illyrians had strong interaction with each other though, and the Epirotes partially Hellenized some of them. Pyrrhos fled to the Talauntii king for safety as a young boy from a plot by Cassander to wipe out what was left of Alexander the Great's family. Pyrrhos was Alexander's cousin, as Alexander's mother, Olympias, was an Epirote of the Molossian royal line. Phillip II didn't marry an Illyrian.
