Pre-ordering and DLC and Steam?

So with this new info I'm wondering what kind of pre-orders qualify for getting the Greek culture pack for free. Retail only or Steam, too? And when can we pre-order?

Great, thanks! When I looked a few days ago, Rome 2 wasn't on Steam yet. Now it is, no preorder so far, though. Maybe next week.

Rome 2 has been on Steam since August last year if I'm not mistaken.

Pontus will be a free Day 1 DLC, everyone will get it.

Will different retailers get different dlc packs, ? This is something I seriously hate , that I need to choice the retailer to get what I want , and then not get the rest...

The Greek Culture Pack will be available from all retailers. There will probably be different offers from different retailers, as it always has been. But what the differences will be is all speculation.

I will buy on Steam just to avoid the horrible cover art.
Ok I lie. I will buy on Steam because everything is on Steam anyways even if the game is on CD.

Hm, the faction wiki page says:

Greek States Culture Pack will be available free with pre-orders for both standard edition and collectior's edition of Total War: ROME II at all participating retailers.

Steam is listed (the page seems to be not complete yet), but Steam is an e-tailer, not a retailer. Maybe Jack Lusted or someone from CA could shed some light on this?
