Jesus was a marijuana user?

Hi, first of all,I think this is my first thread ever in the Ethos subforum.

A friend of mine told me there is scriptoral evidence that Jesus was a cannabis user and used it during his miraculous healings. I looked up a few articles about this and alot of them state the same thing... I think it also explains some of his stoner-like ideals, if you know what I mean. Is this really true? What does this mean? Should christians start smoking cannabis more often?

Well when some people refuse to acknowledge Jesus existed I find it hard that others can prove that he smoked pot. He might have done recreational drugs - it doesn't matter - he might not have - it still doesn't matter. We don't know enough about the daily life of jesus to know he did pot. John of Patmos however....

Did you also know Muhammed was a well known cocaine smuggler? It's true. I dunno if Jesus was a weed smoker but I think its easy to see why pro-herb people today want to get people to THINK that Jesus was a weed smoker. A lot of the pro-pot arguments today center around very christian ideals, the idea that pot is the drug of "peace" (which isnt altogether untrue), the idea that pot brings together a tranquil community of people who care of eachother, are in tune with eachother, etc..love thy neighbor...hippie movement...y'know it kinda fits together snugly.

I actually think a better case could be made for George Washington and his fascination with herb (well, hemp).

Lol this is like the Rasta interpretation of the passage about 'God gave the animals the herd' or something. I believe it's a passage that actually speaks about grass for the animals...as in, to eat.
