I'd say let's keep in the most iconic helmet in all of history even if it is not exactly in the time period.

I was going to say something about this in the other thread but decided it was too small a matter. Something that could probably be changed by just editing a few lines of code. Who knows.

I love them, too but these aren't historically in that period. Chalcidian helmet are similar (smaller cheekplates) so we don't have a problem.

Since it's similar, it won't be a problem for them to keep Corinthian helmets.

I wonder in 2000 years when they make a game about WWI, if they'll be debating including M1916 or M1935 Stahlhelms for the Germans.

They'll be debating weather to use the Picklehaube the entire time through, Prototype M1916 ("Square Dip"), M1916, M1917, or M1918. Get yo' facts straight.

Precisely, the Chalkideans are a combination of Attic and Corinthian and more time appropriate!

If they choose to stick with the Corinthian at least they should use the late types with ear openings and delicate shapes

Probably a Thureophoroi or Thorakitai unit. It's hard to tell whether or not it's a kopis or xiphos.

Its definately a Kopis. I cant see if he wears Thorax armor though... Isn't Theurophoroi/Thorakitai primarily uses Short Spears in Melee? That what makes me rather unsure of what is it...

Depends on the interpretation. Even in mods I've seen Theurophoroi depicted with spears as their primary weapon with Thorakitai using mainly swords.

I don't care if those mini things are 100% correct as long as the game is fun overall.

Is it possible to allow players to choose what kind of helmets their troops used ? What about that!?
Never argue with an idiot, cuz they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

It might be possible to edit unit coding to only show certain helmets within certain units.

I wouldn't mind building an armoury and upgrading my soldiers armour to the Corinthian helmet
