Ok, I will take Robert in this hotseat.
Well if im allowed and not all the factions get taken i will take the targs and the wildings
Baratheon Brothers.. this is gonna be a tough one![]()
Rules are posted.
The descr_strat is more or less ready. All factions recieve a huge boost. I have tried to not go too OTT.
It might not be tested, but we are all big boys and should be able to have some fun.
Well post the first save and we can all test it.
Decent rules, no fort limit?
No fort limit - just the 400men limit. Forts cost 1500 as always in FAB, but have 4 free upkeep slots. Upkeep is not a huge problem here due to the bumped up finances.
Will post in a few minutes. Doing a last little test.
Northmen Up.
I have tried to strike a good balance between faction wealth/power.
Lannister begins with a large number of well armoured, experienced troops. Same with Baratheon. Both factions have easily defendable lands due to mountains and compact size.
Reach begins wealthy, with a large but poorer quality army. Lots of knights, but otherwise numerous but weak infantry. It is also VERY vulnerable to attack.
Riverlands is similar to Reach, although a little poorer. They have better commanders, and natural chokepoints to make up for it.
Arryn and Greyjoy begin with large forces due to their vulnerable position. However, they will soon go into debt, so need to be aggressive.
Stark begins with large forces spread across the North, and will need to gather their strength.
Targaryen begins with numerous powerful armies and a large fleet, but are very spread out.
Dorne is also a place of relative safety, with natural defences and no major threats nearby. They can invade the Reach or pick at the Stormlands with impunity.
Baratheon Brothers begin in a vulnerable position, but with large well equipped armies and Stannis is a great general.
Feel free to look at the changes to the descr strat.
One more thing. You will need to put this portrait pack into data/ui/custom_portraits

do you still need a targ? I'm willing.
I am so sorry!
As you might have read i was on an excursion and from the time i wrote my last message i wasnt able to access the site to play my turns or sub.
That was absolutely not as planned as i normally have my phone with me which provides me an interent connection.
sorry for the inconviences and i will paly all my turns and sub asap, beginning form right now!
Indeed, as long as you hold the relevant castle and your line of march passes through the castle and not across the wall.
The wall was left padsable to allow small groups of raiders to cross. However there is no easy way of controlling this sort of movement in a hotseat game so it is just easier to force an attack on one if the castles.
As Fire and Blood has a much more brutal siege system, remember to send more men than usual and be ready to take time sieging well defended locations. Rule of three applies.
Oh, on the subject of fleets.
Attacking of fleets of the player who comes before you is fine - and you can blockade any port (The sea is essentially one big shared region and territorial waters would be too awkward.
No attacking fleets of someone who has not yet played.
Any objections?
Save sent to Dux (Lannister/Baratheon)
Bring on the Carnage.
No offense, Nitehawk, but Targaryen is perhaps the hardest faction as they lose most of their advantages in this hotseat. xxAmonxx is very experienced and would probably be better suited to the role.
I suggest you join a Youngbloods hotseat and get a few matches under your belt :-)
Hmm, somehow I experienced lots of random crashes on my Robert turn, but no crash at all on my Lannister turn. Very weird. Crashes occurred when I tried to recruit units diplomats and sometimes when I selected a castle. This was completely random. I had no crashed while playing the same turn in the team deathmatch hotseat.
Stannis is up
Aw come on, no 1 turn peace? Badger blockaded my port in the Reach. If there isn't, permission to siege and attack anywhere I want?
Or I could attack your 1 unit blockades south of Brightwater Keep, you've basically attacked my port anyway, and build forts in my land, also, no fort limit?
I'll wait Badger's response to play guise.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
