Mini mods for RTRPE

Hi. I love playin RTRPE but I like to play games to the max. Are there any minimods for RTRPE? like music, banners, voice, skins, etc.

The music and voice mods AFAIK are compatible with RTRPE just as they are with other mods. If they`re not somebody should correct me. There is a music add-on for RTR 6 that works with RTRPE also. Link:

Also if you install it read this quote:

6.2 Music Pack, Still have vanilla music? See this then!

In your Data\Sounds folder change the events.idx and events.dat filename to oldevents.idx and oldevents.dat. That will do it.

Sorry i have a problem with the musci add-on. when i install it, i get this message that says, "Some installation files are corrupt. Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation." And it also says on the window thats showas wats extracting, "CRC failed in data\sounds\music\Campaign10.mp3 Unexpected end of archive." Plz help me i hate the vanilla music

Try downloading it from another mirror and try installing it again.

Do you mean in-game or through modding...

If your doing it in-game go into Preferences.txt (before you start playing) scroll to the bottom and change

Code:

EDIT_SETTLEMENT_NAMES:FALSE

to

Code:

EDIT_SETTLEMENT_NAMES:TRUE

then in game click on a settlement you own, get the building/recruitment scroll up and click on the name at the very top of the screen, back-space and change.

NB: This will only work with Platinum.

There is MnM mod which adds new ships and resources. It uses the mod:mymod switch
(here is the link about mod:mymod http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=44332)
which does not touch your files=no risk. I would try that and then if you don't like it you don't have to reinstall.
