Video/Graphics glitch and a question

Hello, my first problem that I have is that when you zoom out why do the soldiers get blurred out (something like that) because I remember when first playing Roma 2.5 it didn't do that to me when I was playing as Rome but then again it happened to me when I was playing sparta, so how do I fix it or how do I adjust the video settings so it wouldn't show up that way?

In the picture below what do I do to make the dead soldiers in the upper part of the screen remain/look as the ones at the bottom? Same thing happens when they're alive



And if I play Rome as on 1 campaign recruitment will rebel and enemy armies just spawn out of nowhere? Because I found this mod out where it shows what legions are recruitable in RS 2.5 and it crashes the game on 1 turn campaign.

I meant the game crashed on 0 turn campaign with that mod.

It's to do with sprites and the view distance at which they appear.

By using this option it allows your PC to maintain performance - if it was to draw each soldier it may bring your PC to it's knees (and before you say "I've got an i7, with 6GB of memory and a super-dupa graphic card - this game dates from 2004 so it only uses one core of memory and probably does not use most of the functionality of your graphic card).
