Lol I can't believe how many posts like these there are around here. Anyway, going to make it short
Young Bloods/Enhanced with the new skins submod of Prophet and the new portraits of Prophet as well make the best War of Five Kings submod to play
KORAH for the funnest game around here
There are many more if you want different time frames, but either they are full with CTD's or still Work in Progress. Fire and Blood, Winds of Winter, Blackfyre's rebellion
A War of Conquest submod is also being worked on and I can see it is going to be spectacular![]()
KORAH is the most polished in my opinion, and the different timeframe makes things very interesting. I also enjoy the Blackfyre Rebellion as I am a fan of the Blackfyres; but it is still being worked on and needs to be ironed out.
Fire and Blood is coming along very well, and has some nice scripting and extra settlements for a massive civil war. Winds of Winter is interesting as it starts where the fifth book ends, but it is early days and progress has slowed.
I just go with enhanced for war of the five kings, I've never played 0.53 since playing enhanced.
"The disgraced and the disinherited. This is my army. This is our best hope."
I'll just add my opinion :
Young Bloods and New Faction Skins from Prophet are a must - have addictions to the 0.53. All other submods are stand alone.
KORAH is the most polished and has everything that good submod has to.It's about an era before Aegon's counqest, when there were 7 independent kingdoms in Westeros.
Blackfyre Rebellion is about the Blackfyre Rebellion (as the title says ;p).It's not as polished as above but Eoghan Wolfkin will soon present us a new version.
Fire and Blood is also good, and focusing on alternative universe. Badger Dude is working on a new , better version that he will upload in the very near(I think) future.
Winds of Winter's action takes place after the last book written by Martin. Don't play it until u finish the books cause it will spoil the series for you.
Korpskog did a really good job. If you want to add faction skins to the WoW, look on page 8 of the submod thread.
SoulGamesInc and Uri are making a War of Conquest submod that is going to be a sub campaign for KORAH, I think.
There are 2 good submods for the 0.53 that you should install after the Young Bloods but you'll have to choose since they are not compatible with each other.
- Game of Thrones - It adds the HBO theme to Westeros TW.
- KES - It adds Kingsguard and Rainbowguard as generals in 0.53.It has really nice new strat models.
All of them (Except for KES) can be found at Submods thread at main page of Westeros Total War.
Got this thread for a reason, some of the makers have even supplied it with descriptions
> Complete List of Submods <
Exactly Inarus but well, some people find it hard to press F3 and type : "submods" (no offence Condottiere, it's just that you aren't the first to ask this kind of questions).Oh my... it... it Works! You learn something new everyday, I always use and only knew Ctrl+F![]()
KORAH = Most Polished
Youngbloods = What most players want
Fire and Blood = Most new content (Units, factions, settlements)
Don't download Fire and Blood 0.77 though. Wait a couple of days for 0.8 - because I am working on it as we speak :-)
