Help launching?

Whenever I go to launch MTW2 from steam, I select the Americas campaign because that's how I launch the third age mod, I changed the name of the third age mod to Americas to launch it from steam. Anyway, I launch it, and the loading screen that shows the third age mod logo appears for about 3 seconds before it looks like it minimizes, but then it doesn't go to the task bar and I can't view it or open it and I have to use task manager to close it. The other kingdoms campaigns work fine and vanilla works fine. Help?!

Hmm, sounds like a bad install. Have a look at this thread to make sure you installed correctly, if not, uninstall and reinstall. Be sure to pay special attention to the part about UAC.
