And Matto, unless you are 100% you can play your turns don't join. It's no use if we have a drop-out on turn 2 . I'm sure someone that can commit to this HS take this faction

So... Just Hoare and Stormkings left!
You are right I rather won't join. Some other player can take Stormkings then.

Ok, We just need a Hoare and a stormy... I always though those two were the most liked due to the powerhouse potential they both wield.

Lol, you would not believe what a big Hotseat society we have here compared to other hotseats

The main Hotseat forum is very much dead compared to this one, they are badly needing YB's these days, far more then us.....

We get like 3 new people per week, but they haven't got a freshload for ages

Yep, thats true! I think most of this is happening because of HBO series and the beggining of 3rd season. At least thats why I joined this HS community

I think the real big wave of Westeros Hotseaters came about half a year ago-

I know that me and Don Louis joined around that time . Also Badger, Korpskog, The Forgotten, and Emperor of Hell joined around the same time

Most Hotseaters joined somewhere between 6 months ago and today, there are only very few old guys left (Mith, Dux, Vozd, Amon, Pinkie Pie)

I still find it weird that this mod's Hotseat society is way larger then the main Hotseat one.....

You have left myself and HxM off that list

Anyways, if you ask me (as I am a member of the other 2 hotseating communites (as is Dux), we have so many new players because we strive to get new players. The main hotseat forum hasn't had a new young bloods hotseat since like July (which was my first hotseat). The only one at Third Age filled within a day. If these communites made a young bloods hotseat or two, they would see increased activity.

Another thing is, whether you like it or not, hotseating in Westeros is a lot easier than in other mods. There are no spies, no buildings (except armouries and barracks), no siege engines (except KORAH), no economy in Westeros. Which makes hotseating much more simplistic. (that is actually a reason I am now a dying empire in YBIV. I forgot about some of these aspects and am now paying for it)

Sorry . HxM is not that active at the Hotseat forum and only plays in 2-3 hotseats tho

Yes, Westeros Hotseats are easier and far more fun if you ask me

I don't like RP-ing much, but doing it with the Ironborn is just so damn easy, I'll take Hoare

^ Those reasons are all valid. I think more of Westeros Hotseating as a community. Before I began playing here I didn't really know anyone and TWC was just a neat place with mods. A lot has changed since the original YBW hotseat though and with us came a lot more things like the Constitution, the War Room, and dare I even say Winds of Winter? I can't imagine this place though once v1.0 comes out.

As far as I know all other hotseating groups are severely lacking.

Many thanks to the good folks down at the Graphics Workshop for the sig.

TBH, I kinda prefer hotseating on TATW. The lore just makes me excited. As much as I love ASOIAF, it has nothing on LOTR lore-wise.

Real life has so much backstory and lore, that we don't even know how long it spans.

The Ironborn are deciding to become like the mafia. Therefore, we are now offering "protection" to everyone. So pay up, our protection isn't free

Good way to play them... It solves partially the money problem and since the risk of not paying is big (more if other factions do it) it sounds like a wise call...

Just out of curiosity, how much is de quota?

Depends on the faction. Places like Oldtown and CR cost more then places such as Seagard
