Hey, I've been pretty much playing Europa Barbarorum for the first time while I wait for Rome 2 to come out. And I noticed something weird in the custom battles. When selecting a faction to play with, they have random units inside them. For example, the Romani, have 0 roman units, but they have all type of barbarian units. Is that normal?

Yes the same for me. I tried reinstalling EB several times, but nothing worked. Each faction seems to have a randomly generated unit roster list that contains a few of what you'd expect to find. Yet in the campaign the unit lists are normal.

Those are all the mercenary units in the game.

If you want to see some of the rosters download some of the historical battles.

They have battles from Seleucid vs Antigoid to the Romans in Britain

Yes, it is, in fact, completely normal - if you start the game in Single Player. Start the game using the Multiplayer .exe and you'll be able to access proper Factional units for the factions.

Well I did that for Rome and there's a quagmire of random units, but now with a sprinkling of legionaries Got it!
