CTD in siege

hello first of all i would like to start by saying that i am one of the most unluckiest roma surrectum 2 players i have not been able to play this game at all but what i have been able to play i enjoy alot my first issue was a crash whenever i battled Hannibal then it decided to fix itself now whenever i try and fight a siege battle against only 100 enemy soldiers it works up to the point i click start deployment then it will CTD if this can be fixed i will be hugely grateful and a donation would be perfectly on offer for you *#bribery*

- What OS do you use?
i use windows 7 64 bit

- What version of RTW do you use?
the latest i presume steam keeps them up to date

- Are you using steam or not?
yes

- Install path
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold even with it in a folder on its own the game CTDs


- Which launcher option have you used (exe, faction etc)
rome as the faction and RTW as the launcher

If you are reporting a game CTD please provide the additional details

- system specifications, CPU, graphics card
geforce GTX 560 graphics card (updated)


- graphic options selected (way too many options)
default settings

- ideally a compressed save game immediately prior to the CTD so we can attempt to debug

And lastly, please take a picture of the error message or copy it out exactly in your thread.
i cannot take a picture of any error message only it searching for a solution

Just a stab in the dark, but do you have unit shaders enabled in your preference file?
