'When people stop believing in God, they don’t believe in nothing — they believe in anything. '
-Emile Cammaerts' book The Laughing Prophets (1937)
Under the patronage of Nihil. So there.
It's new and interesting. Although the blockade port missions are back *sighs*
I am on fire, but an extinguisher is not required.
Don't worry, it is just your nobles asking you to do that.Originally Posted by The Thracian

The missions sound good and hope that they will indeed be more varied.
Also Penny cheats.
Look at her money in the screenshots![]()
Hmmpf. Personally I quite disliked the senate and its missions. I'm the emperator/king, so I'll choose, thank you. Thus I hope the penalties for ignoring missions won't be too big, and that "exotic unit rewards" will be more than a retarded barbarian mercenary unit.
"Tempus edax rerum." Ovid, Metamorphoses
Under the patronage of Virgil.
I hope the missions make more sense.
For example I was playing the Julii and the Senate kept asking me to blocade a port of Carthage.
What in the world would I blocade a port of Carthage when I'm Julii, seems like a thing for Scipii to be doing
They sound pretty good. The fact that diplomatic deals, like attacking another faction, now become missions is a great idea. Not that the AI ever asked, but it seemed like you'd ask a faction to attack your enemy, they'd agree and take their pay, and then never do anything. Perhaps now the AI will actually act to complete its mission, and the player will be enticed to do the same.
agreed, they should definately add a feature by which the player is notified whether the faction you asked to attack another faction actually carried out u're request or not.Originally Posted by BeastG33
It should say where, how many men fought, who won etc...
That would be very usefull
Great Antwerpen and Brugge are both in game !!
Right, the missions, dont really look fun, hopefully you're not obliged to follow them..., but then agian it is pretty realistic that a monarch (in this chase the guy behind his computer) hasnt got all the power...

Nice find, looks promising.
I just hope the missions will not be against nations I have good relations with.
the guild system looks interesting seeing a guild will offer to open a chapter in your cities. will be a nice feeling when the templars ask you if they can set up a house in one of yours city, which should enable you to train templars and have a economic bonus as well
Hmm I read in the blockade mission that doing so will fill the Noble's coffers. Does that mean that blockadingports will allow you to gain money? Will add far more relevance to naval strength if this is the case.
I'll just play the turks and make my first mission to kill the god damned pope.
senate missions were great but the rewards need to be better...
will non-catholic factions get missions too??

Why not? All but Pope's missions, that is.Originally Posted by LegionairosMatt
