Default Hello, I could use a little bit of advice if someone would be so gracious...

As I stated in the title, I am in need of a little help! I have been playing Stainless Steel for a few months now and love it to death! It has become "Vanilla" for me basically and I know I am not alone in this. It has truly made what was already my favorite game close to perfect in my opinion.

Anyway, I just installed "The Third Age" mod and love that too. I was taken aback to find out they are both designed in principle by the same man (demi-god?). I should not have been surprised though as Kong is King for a reason! Thanks again Mr. Kong!

Sooooo my problem is this. To make a bunch of uninteresting crud easier to digest for those who are reading this, know that I now have both mods able to launch simultaneously and this is seriously AWESOME. What I mean specifically is that I just have to click either mod's launch icon and I can play both depending on my choice at the time instead of uninstalling and installing blah blah. This DID NOT happen on purpose lol. What happened is that even though I thought I had uninstalled S.S. (A sad moment ) I apparently had not! What I really want to ask is is this stable? I mean is it safe to have it set up this way and please please please can I keep it so???? I also now have the amazing Barborum (sorry I cant remember how to spell it or even the full title) mod as well as the Darth Mod set up in the same way for Rome and would love to keep it that way as well obviously.

Thanks so much for any help fellas! I am so glad to have found this awesome community and I hope to have plenty of conversation with the lot of you. Peace!

Yes, it's right like that, MacReady. It's a kingdoms expansion, it's supposed to work as the Kingdoms' campaigns, you can have them all, and whenever you want to play one, you simply open it's shortcut. Next time I advise you to post this on SS sub forums, better to have answers about it. As for SS itself, remember to set the options in the little thingy that changes your settings for campaign.

You can have as many mods installed as you want as long as they are mod foldered(most mods are) and you have the space for them.

I may be wrong but... Kingdoms Mods will be separated, whilst Medieval II mods will overwrite your game files. I will never use any Medieval II mod because of that reason, you can see which mods are which on the boards, Medieval II: Hosted Modifications and Kingdoms: Hosted Modifications. Good luck.

Actually it is possible for vanilla mods to have their own mod folder and not affect the vanilla game, just that you start the mod from a batch file that will be put in the main Med2 folder. But I didn't play any important vanilla mods so I don't know if they use their own mod folder or not, or if they still change vanilla files even if they use a mod folder.

Sorry about cluttering up the wrong forum it is just that as I was wondering about all four of those mods I was not sure where to post. I'll be more precise with my "aim" next time!
