Hey, which one is better Shogunate or Imperial?
Also which are the best retainers for FoTS

No more Shogun! No more Emperor! Japan belongs to the People! Republic all the way : D

For the the standard Allegence troops the stats are the same except that the Shogunate Infantry has more ammo (5 more)
For the Elite Infantry troops the stats are the same according to the Game Encyclopaedia
For Cavalry the Shogun has better spear Cavalry with their Shogunate Guard Cavalry
But the Imperials have better missle Cavalry with their Imperial Guard Cavalry
which has a strong charge and good melee stats
And the Republic has Republican Guard Cavalry which is sword cavalry.

For Sword Melee the Shogunate has the Shogitai and the Shinsengumi Police Force which is Line Infantry and Sword Infantry combined.
