EB II is finally out! ...NOW!!!...
awesome work as always guys!
liking the Blackwood Bowmen especially, at first glance they reminded me somewhat of Robin Hood's merry men... forgive me if that's an insult
one quick question; are the Blackwood/Bracken/Mallister Units AOR or are they faction specific to the House Tully?
Most of the units are AOR, and the one you're asking of aren't exceptions.
Basically all units are AoR, but the Bracken/Blackwood/Mallister units will only be recruitable in their specific home regions.
Oh, by the way, to recruit a unit in any settlement, you need to:
- Have a general who is the titular Lord of the settlement (unless you refuse to use the titles script at turn 1)
- Own 1/3 of the settlements of that particular region.
- For some units, have a sufficient loyalty in the settlement (like in vanilla Britannia Campaign). This may vary depending on the unit, with peasants having the lowes and nobles the highest requirements.
So, for example, you can recruit Mallister unit if you own Seagard + 1/3 of the riverlands.
This system is in for 2 reasons:
- balancing blitz strategy: you have to rely on your invading army and the reinforcements from your mainland when planning a war.
- simulate the backstabbing of the region against their former sovereigns: the people of Seagard will fight for you when they think you can win the war, hence you should have given your enemy a strong hit. Controlling 1/3 of the enemy territory is strong enough![]()
Wow, that are a lot of requirements. But I get it. It makes it more realistic! Countering the blitz strategy is useful, 'cause I once conquered a region in less than six turns. Thumbs up!
Just one last time I want to say really nice work, I was expecting a similar unit list to House Frey, but Tully really looks like it's own really unique faction.
Serious Kudos to everyone who helped, I know I'm a sucker for Riverlands characters, but the faction is really good looking, just looking over the screenshots gets me all giddy about the game.
Great work![]()
This is awesome!
YES, THIS IS PE-R-**********-ECT!
Will the Blackfish get a special campaign map model? I hope so!
