Icon5 How to keep campaign characters(when selected) voices after modifying export_descr_sounds_units_voice.txt for your own made units?

Hello everyone, as the title states, does anyone know how to keep your campaign characters voices after adding your modified unit/units similar voices(ex. my modified unit use the handgunners voices)?

Here is my situation(to make this simple and not complicated to the point of misunderstanding my thread):
After creating a clone of handgunners, adding their pics, etc., etc, I decided that I want them to say something when selected in-battle so I follow this tutorial here:

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?499907-Unique-unit-voices-and-soundtheme

I did everything it said, so I went in-game on custom battles etc. and their voices worked. But when i got into my campaign and selected one of my generals, i heard him say nothing. I somewhat thought the volume was low etc. then I clicked on my merchant and I heard his voice fine. However when I went to select my priest he didn't say anything like the general.

I went back to export_descr_sounds_units_voice.txt, edited it a bit still no fix(although I found an alternate way on adding my modified handgunners in order to have the same voice as the empire handgunners)

Does someone know what did I went wrong here or is this something I cant do in-order to keep in-game characters voice from not playing/saying?
(sorry if there is already a thread with this problem and if this thread is in the wrong place to post at)

Stratmap voices are in export_descr_sounds_stratmap_voice.txt, listed by agent name type (admiral, general, merchant etc)

What must I do with that file Gigantus?

I have already added the attribute "read-only" but when I start a new campaign the game shuts down without a CTD.

I assumed you were modding the files yourself. As I am not the greatest with sound files I can only say that similar modifications need to made in there. Best will be to post directly in that thread.

I wasn't planning on modifying the sound file unless I have to but I'll see if anyone in the sound department will help me.

    Thanks

I'm pretty sure by now someone from the CoW team or a modder with sound modifying skills have read this thread already, I do hope you guys reply soon for I am getting a feeling that I'm being ignored.

    (sorry for non-topic post)

You may have better luck by posting in the Q&A forum or have a look if it has been addressed in the tutorial forum.

Alright off topic question, does anyone know who is the sound modder for CoW?

I must ask him its very important and crucial about the sound and voices on this mod.

    Thank you.

Good News, I solved it on the 15th, 16th-ish of this month now for those who wants to add voices into their/your modified unit, just leave a post and I shall PM you how I did it(of course it depends on whether or not people want to know or not).
Or If I'm allowed, I could always make a Tutorial(warning I'm not good at making tutorials since I've never posted one in a forum at all!, but I'll try .)

Heads up before posting, If your using Gig's CoW, please by all means necessary read this: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...llation/page54
Gig's last post just tells you where the pictures are so basically either drag and drop or just put his code in the EDU if you know how.(I will update this post right after I install Gig's CoW in a different folder for research of course)

Thank you for your time reading my post and have a good day.
