Assuming Medieval 2 will have the same diffculty setting as Rome what setting will you play at. I think im going to start of by playing with a medium campaign and medium battle difficulty until I learn how the game plays.

VH/VH .... i want a chalange!
Sitarus Originalus Pontifex Maximus -30+
Gen. von Sitar
also known as original-30+
Slovenci kremeniti!
probably m/m too
probably hard or very hard, ill play a regular battle first and then decide.
bashing my head onto the brick wall in order to make my mind... m/m or h/h
vh for campaign
m or h for battle
Hard for battles, medium campaign. I wanna play and finish a nice relaxed game; look at the units, the features; the grand tour. After that the real playing begins.

When I started with Rome, my first campaign was easy-easy. By now, I'm just getting good enough where I can say with confidence:
Unmodded - VH/VH. Oorah.
Hard battles, medium campaign. Don't know how much it affects having on hard on campaign..

In MTW I always played on Expert, but I am not a fan of the RTW campaign map which I usually left on Medium.
Probably medium campaign and hard battles. Hate vh campaign maps, when everyone attacks you regardless of it being smart or not. Its a challenge, but to never have peace ever on a single border just seems unrealistic, at least if you don't act as the agressor. I want peace, then develop my country economically and technologically, suddenly wham! A superpower rizes out of nothing.
GEIR HASUND!
By the way, though my avatar might indicate so, I am not a citizen of Germany, though my ancestry have a branch in this great nation.
Probably M/M. I might try a battle first and decide If I'll go M/H instead
I am on fire, but an extinguisher is not required.
hey, I'll try M2TW on m/m as most of you guys tooFirst I'll play grand campaign as the faction in tutorial (i'm 99% certain that would be English
). Why on m/m? Well I just wanna adjust to the new features, new battles, new units, new AI both strategic tactical and diplomatic. I wanna "give paradise" to my eyes by looking at all descriptions, eye candy, esp movies (I love them
), etc. First campaign will be an introductionary one, so I just wanna relax and play it without much worry :hmmm: . And next campaign I'll probably play on h/h.
OMG I'M GOING CRAZY WAITING FOR THIS SUPERB GAME!!!!!!!!ARGHHHH! I WANT IT NOW CA! DAMN I WANT IT NOOOOOW!

ill play a custom battle, and tutorial on h/h and see vrom there.
I'm definitely going with medium all the way at first. It's a good way to test just how challenging the game is.
H&H I'll start easy then VH&VH, I dont think the vanila version will be a challange
Nor do I. VH/VH will present the only challenge unless the difficulty has been upped or the amount of money downed. Losing battles I don't mind as long as I give them a bloody nose...Originally Posted by MikeRusso

Under the patronage of Nihil. So there.
M/M. I hate how the AI gets free money and stat boosts on VH. I might move up to H/M after I figure out how things work.
M/M at the first game
the second game H/H
the third game VH/VH
and finally only VH/VH
