Yes, it's supposed to be Hot Seat save file, my turn, on Britannia expansion, anyhow, I placed the file on Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\british_isles\saves yet it doesn't show up in the bloody load game list. What is wrong?
You have the game installed in Program Files (x86), bad news for an old XP game.
1. Log in as Administrator.
2. Disable the UAC if not done so.
3. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...Store-Problems needs to be done and part of the answer to your question.
4. Now install the game in C:\Games to get away from Steve Ballmer's security ******** he's so proud of.
Now, your savegames will be where they belong and be read by the game unless corrupted in transit.
Mate, I really don't think that is the problem, because whenever I tried doing the same with other save files, they worked fine, just this one. Is it corrupted? Has it worked for you?
What set up is that? That may be the problem, it's two newbies trying to set a HS, we don't know anything about it, how to do it or anything, I simply saved the file on my Britannia saves, as I would do with any other HS such as SS.
After Squid restarted VB4, I downloaded and tried the save. It works as advertized.
I do have my Medieval2 set up as I listed above. No problems with what others seem to have.
