Flashing Between Desktop and Game During Loading Sequences
Hello, I am using Windows 8-64bit running Roma Surrectum 2.5 using Steam and playing as Rome 0-turn with Rome.exe selected from the laucher. The game and mod are installed in My Documents.
The problem I am having occurs when I run into a loading sequence within the game, including the ones preceding the main menu and start up. During loading, my screen flashes between my desktop and RTW until the loading bar begins to move. I do not know if this problem is a result of my hardware/software, or something I did wrong launching the mod. In my latest turn, I captured a city and returned to have the campaign map all white(like it was blanketed with snow, just not in-game snow) and only trees, mountains, etc. textured. I am not certain if these symptoms are related, nor do I know if I can replicate the campaign map problem.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Re: Flashing Between Desktop and Game During Loading Sequences
I think the advice is to keep the game away from any Windows folder which includes the desktop and 'My Documents' types of folders.
Create a folder on your hard drive and install it there e.g. C:\PC_Games.
Did you play vanilla R:TW with this install and did it have similar problems?
Also have a read of this: here
