Kingdoms Windows 8 Install problems
Okay, I just got a new computer with Windows 8 on it. I downloaded my mods, installed Medieval II:Total War but when I put in the kingdoms disk I get the error:
This application is not compatible with the installed operating system.
Please upgrade to Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 or better.
The first bit installed just fine, no problem whatsoever, it's only kingdoms that wont install. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Kingdoms Windows 8 Install problems
1. Log in as Administrator. Nothing happens otherwise.
2. Disable the UAC. Microsoft's extra security layer makes it almost impossible to play if not done.
3. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...Store-Problems frome the C: drive icon. Same reasoning as #2.
4. Install the game in anything but C:\Program Files (x86) for the same reasoning as #2.
5. Manually run Windows Update installing all software options after activating your copy of Win 8. God only knows what the auo-updater did not update.
