So I've taken back the lower parts of Italy and i've just captured all of Sicily. Should I head West or East? I was thinking about taking on Carthage. Is this a smart idea?

Okay thank you. I will go after Carthage and then Greece. Since those dirty Greeks keep attacking my ports.

Yeah like the previous post said. Go fo money: Greece and North Africa. Carthage should be the first target. Also keep the spanish in limited settlements while you're fighting Carthage. If Spain gets up and running with a decent economy, you will have problems, same for Sparta. I've seen Sparta take everything in Greece and push all the way up and took control of Germany soon to take France and Italy.
dont forget to take massilia, segestica, salona that are rich citys and massilia is easy to defend
A little update on my campaign. I now have 5 different numbered legions and i'm starting to push East out of Italy into the Boii's territory. I'll get pictures up soon, well if I can figure out how to capture them.

Download Free Fraps or MSI afterburner.

I'll upload a update tomorrow. Since i'm going to play some xbox for the night. See you then and remember, your advice is always welcome.

That Rebel stack near Capua is a bug, and you can just enter into the command box "auto_win attacker", attack it with one unit, because it is not suppose to be in the game.

A small piece of advice: play with the Alexander exe. There are two rather large differences in how the AI behaves between BI and Alex: in the latter, the AI consolidates its units into full stacks rather than throwing umpteen small armies at you as the BI AI does, and it retrains its units whilst the BI AI cannot. This makes for a more difficult campaign.
I would play with the Alex exe, but I don't have it. So I guess the best next one is BI. I should find Alex and buy it soon.

you can make a fort on that place to prevent future rebel stack from spawning over and over

Damn you got 16 000 income in aretium ... you must have legendary trader general there![]()
I can't edit my post so I just want to fix this ... not Aretium it's Ariminum![]()
taking it slow on expanding is good, its better to build out your core citys first.
than you get more citys with that sort of income
Lol the Galaeci have gone to town on Carthage. I'd be careful of them, they were a huge bother for me when they only had around 7 settlements.) Boii and Dacia have expanded a lot too, I remember in my first campaign the Boii and Dacia were allied and they were destroying everything. Boii had made the Cimbrii their protectorate and the Dacians were hammering the Scythians + Sarmartians.
