Broken files?

I keep getting a message that files 3 and 6 are broken when I try to extract the rar downloads. Not sure how many times I have downloaded this mod. Worked fine when I had windows 7 but now that I have 8 and a better computer I can't make it work. Sad day unless someone can help me

Hi, yes this is frustrating. I've downloaded the 3 parts from the download thread at the top of this forum page several times now, and each time, of the 8 .bin files, file 3 gives me a crc error message and is corrupted when i try to install. looking through this forum, I see we're not the only ones who this has happened to, and if the solution is to torrent the files from somewhere else, why isn't that a sticky at the top of the page, saving people from this 22 hour headache? I actually wrote a long and technical thread about this just now but this site for some reason won't let me post. so I guess this is getting bump'd about 2 years time, congrats. I'm thoroughly ticked right now.

sorry thought your join date was the date this was posted, so not a bump. seems this is a recent issue with the mirror links to install.

Yeah I downloaded the torrent it works very well. Gigantus version.
