I have noticed that when you are using a unit whose primary attack option is a missile weapon and it has officers in the formation that their swords disappear from their hands on the charge. I am mainly refering to the centurions and signifers of the roman legionaries. If you do the secondary weapon charge and skip the missile attack their sword does not disappear from their hands, this is also true for the triarii unit which does not have a missile weapon. A few possible solutions are to give the officers of missile units the same kind of missile weapon that their unit uses or to just use the secondary weapon charge. Unfortunately i do not have 3d studio max and cannot test to see if there is a modeling fix that can correct this problem nor can i test my theory of giving them missile weapons. Can someone with the capability of adding missile weapons to the officers please test this to see if it fixes the problem?
