There is no way that a few changes in the darthmod.pack or any mod pack could possibly break the game. Maybe you tried to run the game without starting the launcher first and then uninstalled the mod without restoring to vanilla?
You do not want the skirmish ability but what the skirmish ability does. You do not need to enable it in-game for this to work. By simply giving them the skirmish ability 2-3 ranks will fire at their own pace, even if you do not activate it in the game.

I would also get rid of FBR completely or at least make it so that researching it yields no other bonuses so one can avoid it altogether.I also highly suggest that you decrease accuracy. Even a full volley by good quality troops should cause VERY few casualties
from maximum range. Units like militia or even bad line infantry should have a hard time causing any significant casualties in an entire firefight. In my opinion the difference in quality does not show as much as it should in the mod.

Is it possible to have a DMUC 7.0 version of this? The Platinum edition is still a little bit "beta" for my taste, and I am sticking with 7.0 as long as major bugs (like Dagestan) aren't fixed...
MASS FIRE VERSION Line units and Elites use MASS FIRE ( First 3 ranks all fire together and reload) Some call this volley fire. By Request. Note might get strange behavior from Battle AI. TEST IT.

i see. its a lot better now. however, their reload speed is craaazy now. i always thought the better infantry reloaded too slowly, but they reload like they have breech loaders. plus, all 3 lines firing is excessive. is there a way to slow the reload speed and only have the first two ranks fire? i think the accuracy is fine though. haven't played any campaign though to notice a CTD bug
So has any one played this yet? I need feedback on CAI and BAI. What is happening in your campaign? Still getting Ottoman turn bug?
So guys, could you please tell me if skirmish mode or massive fire included in the latest version?

UPDATE: Skirmish for all line infantry fixed.-they all volly-mass fire, not fire by rank. Campaign turn crash fixed. Played to 1709-NO Ottoman turn bug!: Tweaked projectile calibration-muskets not as accurate-longer fire fights Tweaked diplomacy and CAI spending for a few faction types for more balance. So test this and report back
