Amazons Total War Reached top 10 Ranking Announcement on ModDB

For the 7 days ended at Monday August 5th, Amazons Total War was hovering between #3-#45. Again the main reason for the decline continue to be the negative ratings provided by a few malicious player(s), and possibly one with multiple IDs on ModDB plus his sidekick. The party decided that he/they can give the mod bottom rating solely because of ulterior motives and past grudges. We know who he is here on TWC but decided to let the mod project speak for itself.

So, if you have played the current version of Amazons Total War, please provide a fair rating to the mod at ModDB website, that is, if you are already a member at ModDB.

Many players including members of Hex. Council have played the mod and provided the highest possible ratings as well as inputs and suggestions. And thanks to these new ratings, we are recovering from these extremely unethical and malicious attacks. Current rating is 9.0 recovering from the lows of 8.0 rating. As a comparison, for the three months period the 8.0 mod was first released, the mod has 10.0 out of 10.0 ratings.

For the next few weeks, the Amazons Total War mod team is engaged in intense R&D reviews and concept consolidations, so until the Rome II' release, there is no need to make the usual rating announcements, as all team mates are busy preparing for the next round of Amazons mod upgrades.

For the 7 days ended in August 12th, Amazon Total War ranking has been fluctuating but generally hovering around #3-#5 spot on ModDB.

As stated the Amazons Total War is awaiting the release of Rome II to determine the platform of future release, so no detail update on user-demand for the next few weeks.
For the 7 days ending on August 19th, Amazons Total War is hovering between 2nd place and the 5th place on ModDB

The platforms being evaluated and/or considered are

1. Open Source game engine
2. M2TW
3. Rome II

The specific R&D features are

1. infantry supported chariot
2. naval battle in campaign mode
3. programmable AIs
4. script migration to one of the game engine platforms above.
5. programmable and reloadable map and strat configuration

For the 7 days ending on September 2nd, Amazons Total War has been hovering between #1 and #4 on the ModDB ranking. Thanks to the ModDB's admins, we were able to restore our rating and the visitation has been back up to 8,000-11,000 a day and downloads has been increased dramatically with the 8.0B release.

As WheeliePaul pointed out in another forum, Amazons Total War 8.0 series has over 1.25 million views on ModDB and over 100,000 download combined on all download sites.

For the 7 days ending on September 16th, 2013, Amazons Total War was hovering between #1 and #3 on the ModDB's most popular mod list.
The main reason has been the fact that our rating on ModDB was re-investigated and then ratings posted by trolls were removed.
The second reason is that we now have much more foreign language visits and downloads than before.

For ModDB admins, thank you for your unbiased review and for our hard working team members, you girls (plus Mitch and Wheelie) are the best.

For the 7 days ending on September 25th, 2013, Amazons Total War was hovering between #1 and #2 on the ModDB's most popular mod list.
Peek traffic was about 12,000 visitation, and low was about 8,000.

Thanks to ModDB Admin's help, Amazons Total War now has a restored mod rating. And it is now rated 9.8 out of 10.

For the 7 days ending on September 30th, Amazons Total War 8.0b was ranked #1 on ModDB with the exception of being #2 for half day on Friday.

Our foreign language add-ons are doing a great job attracting more non-English speaking players. And thanks to ModDB admin who help cleaned up hostile ratings, the mod is once again back to the top.

For the past seven weeks (Oct 1st - Nov 21), Amazons Total War 8.0B was ranked top 5 mods on ModDB, with the exception of two days on the third week of October, when it was ranked #12 due to troll attacks.
