Loading Problem

My original thread died without a response in the general RS2 forum - perhaps I have more success here:

"I installed this Mod now about 3 or 4 times: First vanilla RTW with all patches (in C:/).
What worries me is that at start-up (after the laucher) the old VEGA picture and the video part with the charging cavalry appears. I experience occasionally ctds when changing between Battle Map and Main Map which may be related to this or a graphic problem. At one time I had an error message in french.

It is not the install per se, but the reason must be in the downloaded files or the graphics. Perhaps my patching before installing the mod has caused this? Please advise - what else could be wrong? This never happened when I installed the Mod using DVKs DL with installing in sequence all the required patches."

If you don't see the RSII launch images then it's a bad install. I'm not sure what you're referring to by the old VEGA picture - please post an image.

You can stop the video showing by using the -nm (no movie) option on the launcher - I believe that's the default value.

First of all, Thank you very much for replying to my post.

After I press Start on the Loading Screen, the music stops and the computer is loading showing the RS screen. Suddenly part of the Loading video from RTW-BI appears. I press Esc. and the video disappears, of course.
Secondly, during the game when changing between campaign and battle map the loading box of RS appears briefly.

In general, it is not a big problem since the game plays fine, but is is very annoying.
I will try your suggestion with "-nm". Stupid me - How do I find the appropriate file and line to be changed?

The -nm switch is added onto the launcher. As I posted before I believe the -nm switch is there by default.
