    We know that there will be new dynamic sight feature in R2TW. Imho it would be great if sun will also affect sight. So if units face sun in the morning or afternoon, those units will see worse than units who have sun behind their backs. Archers facing sun will be less accurate. And it could even affect moral of units, because those units won't be able to discern enemy until it come too close.

    That would just be annoying and unpredictable.

    No, no, guys, don't shoot him down. Even Sun Tzu mentioned the importance of the sun when setting camp and fighting, if I recall correctly. I do think this should be important and implemented in the game, albeit much less of a factor.

    He meant that Sun Tzu was self-promoting by saying how important the sun was

    Im glad someone mentioned how Sun-Tzu used the sun to his advantage and ended up being in the art of war. Not sure why there was an "Lol" in response to that post... guess he diddnt know.

    I thinkhe was making a joke about Sun Tzu having 'sun' in his name. Hence, the 'lol'.

    There is a reason Sun-Tzu created a book, not a game.

    Would be interesting to affect LoS if in purely the wrong direction (very small angle where it matters) and maybe a bit for archers range where having to aim high right into the sun is more difficult.

    Interesting idea, but having played bf3 I will now be extremely wary of games with a large bright sun that shines in your eyes

    Nice idea in theory, but in practice.....ughh.....blindness and disaster waiting to happen.

    But of course.
    And then when its raining they can simulate the rain on their face or the discomfort of wet sandals
    If its windy they can simulate the force on their shields

    Dont forget after battle sunburn or catching the cold.

    I wasn't sure if you were trolling or it was a co-incidental pun. Either way, made me chuckle.

    Bad idea. I don't want to imagine how MP matches will be like. All the "hax" insults will go to the player who was lucky enough to get the sun behind him. Regardless of skill. And everybody will rush their units around the field juuuust to position themselves.
    Reality =/= Game

    I like the idea in a way, but I don't want to see it ingame. If I want to experience this effect, then I'd rather make a time machine and personally participate in ancient battles where the sun had a major role. There are some aspects and elements in real strategy that if implemented in a game will make the game less exciting.

    Just an opinion.
