What do you think about mysterious Rally Point icon? Poll

Do you think what is this? I have few reasons.

1. In new Rally Point will be short clue what is this.

2. New Rally Point will be full about 9th playable faction.

3. In Rally Point will be only short clue about 9th playable faction.

4. New Rally Point will be about unplayable factions.

5. In Rally Point will be short clue about non playable factions.

6. In Rally Point will be short clue about DLC faction.

7. Other reason in your opinions...

I imagine it's a preview that the new Rally Point will preview a preview that hints on another teaser about a preview of a possible ninth faction maybe in another preview.

That fits their MO so far.

I prefer the 9th faction. I don't understand people who think that 8 playable factions are a good choice. Why don't want one more playable factions? These 8 factions don't have all cultures.

How I can add poll? I did try but I duplicated threads. In last week I made threads with poll without problems.

these 8 factions represent all the cultures the 3 houses of Rome for Greek-Roman culture, Macedon represents the Hellisitic factions, there are factions like Averni for the North, parthia for far east and Egypt (even Ptolemeic) and Carthage for the south... so it's quite balanced, but i want a 9th playable faction too!

In Rally point I don't know but the icon in faction wiki page will reveal a 9th playable faction (standard edition). It makes no business sense to announce a DLC/pre-order faction from marketing and building hype point of view since the release date is not announce yet. So I guess CA is coming up good in their developement process where they can now make it 9 factions instead of the originally planned 8.

The use of Rally point icon instead the early question mark icon was certainly mean to build up the hype and speculations. Unless of course the next Rally point and announcement informing about release date then the 9th icon will mean for special edition/pre order extra faction.

The next Rallly Point will be a full faction reveal, although I don't see why they'd make a special announcement for the last faction. This is a crazy idea, but what if CA have decided to put together a poll where the fans vote on which faction will be the 9th playable? It is farfetched but if the next Rally Point focuses on the faction reveal, it might be something out of the ordinary.

I don't think CA ever announce unplayable factions except related to main playable factions (nearest enemy etc). Never faction page for the unplayables so I don't think they will start since if they reveal some then people will expect the 100+ other unplayables.

I read that the symbol is a very clever British joke but no-one ever explained "the funny". Unless the hilarious part is that it is the rally symbol. I'm taking a Karl Pilkington approach to this - looks like a wonky standby symbol to me.
