Seriously though, I will be going online starting in the next couple of days and I am looking for soime other relative newcomers to TW (I am about a 3 month veteran and have been playing all the TW's from Rome up to Nap) that are interested in some friendly (though serious!!!! GRRRRR!!!!) competition in order to mutually benefit all parties involved. In layman's, lets lay some fresh whippins on each other so we can improve in the long run!

If you are interested please post a reply here as I have taken a liking to this community and plan on checking back here often. As I said, I want to help YOU as much as I want to help myself and I mean this sincerely! Onward to Victory!!!!! Sweep the Leg!!!!! errr...or some such other thing........See! I need practice!

Great idea man! I really want to join this, but i'm going to be away from my PC for at least good couple of days. I would love to play after that though. Is it ok if i PM you once i get access to my computer again?

Sounds good to me. I have the same Username "PrestigeX" on the MP as I do here on the forums. So, if I see you online (assuming your name is Young Turk or SeekingSomething in MP) we can play. Perhaps I am a bit more than a newbie, but I am very very interested in playing against ppl who want to do things aside from simply "Win".

ie. We can do games where, one player as 10,000 and the other has 20,000 ,,, we can play where one side gets 8 cav max, the other with 4 cav max etc (esp if you imagine Egypt vs. England kind of thing -- some factions really need extra Cav elements to compete fairly on MP - the usual "Max Cav" rules hinder the Eastern factions greatly IMHO)

Especially interested in Early and High period battles btw.

Ok cool. I would love to play some matches with you two guys. I hope I didn't flake too long and miss contacting the both of you. I had some real stuff to take care of and I was too busy to come online for the last week and a half. If you guys or anyone else would still be interested, my name is MacCready on Steam and I will be online tonight for sure. I live in the western U.S. so that's U.S. Pacific time. As I said in the OP, I really just wan't to improve my ability as a commander and am not in it to win it just yet. As long as we all improve skill wise, mission accomplished!
