Current Funniest Shows on TV

Hey, it's Necromancer!!! Just figured I'd start yet ANOTHUH thread. This one's about... well you already read title you've got the idea.

IMO the funniest show on TV -in my neck of the woods- right now has to be:

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" - I highly doubt any Americans here haven't at least HEARD about this show. If you haven't seen it... you need to. I don't care where you're from, with the internet almost anything is available to anyone from anyplace. FIND A WAY!!!
Every time I watch this show, I'm cracking up, and by the end, my whole body aches from laughter.

The show's about three guys in their late 20's, Charlie, Mac and Dennis, and Dennis's sister Dee. They run a bar in downtown Philly (Hence the name!) called Patty's Irish Pub. These guy's just can't stop getting into trouble. Some of the situations these guys get into just makes you cry from laughter. It's THAT funny.

I only have 4 channels and I dont watch television except from when there is a movie a want to watch on.
I do download some shows though, but I dont know if they are currently on TV or not

Dead Ringers without a doubt, for the Obi Wan sketch alone. It puts Little Britain to shame. You have to be fairly aware of movies, tv, sport and UK politics to get some of the sketches, but they are HILARIOUS. A few examples...

American Dad is not funny. That is what happens when the creators of one amazingly funny and original show (family guy) are asked to replicate their genius right at the same time.

While it just recently went off the air, (apparently it's going to go into syndication on G4TV very soon, so watch out for that.) Arrested Development (whose third and final season is hitting DVD this Tuesday) is without a doubt the funniest show on television. No, I am not exaggerating, and neither am I caught up in fan boyish glee. This show is that fantastic. A legitimate critical success, but sadly, a ratings failure. Never have I seen a comedy show remain so intelligent and clever, while steering (mostly) clear of cheap slapstick humor throughout its run. Arrested Development helped pioneer things like the one-camera viewpoint that was cribbed by later, wholly inferior shows (I'm looking at you, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia). Speaking of that, I've tried, but can not get into Philadelphia. I'm not sure if it's just rage over so many stolen bits/techniques, or if the show actually isn't funny. Watch three episodes of Philadelphia, and then Arrested Development. You'll see what I mean.
