(MOS 1.4) I annihilated Mordor, but their Faction Heir spawned with no bodyguard so I can't kill him

I'm playing a Silvan Elves campaign with TATW 3.2, MOS 1.4. I destroyed the One Ring, Mordor spawned a couple stacks after losing all their towns, things were going swimmingly. Then they took back one of their towns.

When Legolas sauntered on over to crush them once more, I noticed that in the newly-taken town (Erech), there was the faction leader and a Mumakil unit, but outside was the Faction Heir... with no bodyguard. Here's an image I took after I killed the faction leader in Erech, making this bodyguard-less guy the new faction leader(I apologize for the phone-quality; my screenshot button wasn't working):





When one clicks on an army, normally one sees the screen that shows all the units in the army. Instead, when I click on the faction leader, I get his character screen. I've tried the "kill_character" console command, but apparently that doesn't work. I tried surrounding him with units and then attacking him with one of them, but get this: he moves into one of the tiles occupied by another one of my units, simply pushing my own unit out of the way. Furthermore, there's no way to force him into a battle. He automatically withdraws, but he never runs out of movement points.

I considered throwing assassins at him, but as the Silvan Elves, I do not appear to be able to recruit assassins.

So, I turn to you, wonderful twcenter. Can you please help me?
