Teutonic Knights/Ritterbruder recruitable for HRE?

Hiya, first time poster here, just started playing SS 6.4 a few days ago and I'm having a hell of a time, I'm on turn 35~ in Early Era as the HRE, h/h.

One of my favorite things about the HRE in vanilla was the ability to recruit badass Teutonic Knights. I've been trying to work out how to get them in this thing, but I can't seem to find all of the information I need. I've learned that it isn't a guild anymore, it's something that you build, you have to build it before 1230-1235, and it can only be built in Magdeburg, Stettin, Hamburg, Thorn, and Palanga. What I'm not sure of is if all of that is still true since things change between versions, and what you need to build it. I've read that you need to have one of those settlements up to Fortress level, but the export_descr_buildings says that it needs to be a minor city for the minor house. Also, is it even possible to recruit them when you start from the early era? It looks like if you start in late it's possible to recruit them if you build those buildings real quick before 1230 hits. If I started in early, will I be able to make those buildings around year 1200?

I'm just really confused, I've been puzzling away at this for a couple hours, looking through the internet in general and this forum with all sorts of keywords, but this forum's search doesn't seem to want to show me more than one page of results and google becomes really irrelevant really fast. If anyone can give me some clarification on this I would definitely appreciate it.

I think Teutonic Knights are only available before the Teutonic Order emerges. Or perhaps the Chapter House can only be built before the Orders emergence. In any case, I'm under the impression that in late campaign they're unrecruitable for HRE (I'm not 100% sure on that, though).

I think the script does sometimes a bit bogus in case of trigger conditions. In the late campaign you should be able to build them within 5 years, else withing 125 years - the trigger is the Inquisition, thereafter the building is disabled. (2nd link from Baltic W.)
In my 'test-campaign' the building was also completely disabled right away (didn't even show up in the building browser) and only after removing the inquisition-entry made it possible to establish it.

Oh yeah, I worked out what the problem was. It turns out that I'd just forgotten to install the Teutonic Knights fix >.< As soon as I did that I could see the building in the browser and everything, cleared some of my confusion up. Some of your information was also very helpful, and I thank you for it
